AP Consentration

Over the past few weeks in AP DMA we have really been focusing on main concentrations. I wrote a post a few weeks ago about my concentration so now I will just be posting some more photos I have taken. In the photos below, I used my great pal Mickey as a model. During our exploration through the abandoned building we had to avoid workers and brace very cold temperatures. Also, the lack of equipment I am able to carry around on these shoots I require lots of nature light for my photos, but it was cloudy and gross on the day we took these photos. So, I decided to match the mood outside and make these photos a bit darker than usual and show less emotion. I think they turned out pretty well considering we were rushed with the risk of getting busted and risk of sever hypothermia and hand loss. If you know of any cool places I could shoot at PLEASE let me know because I am running out of places. Thanks

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017. Eventually, I will talk about Marvel comic book artists, but not today. If you want to check out more of her work, here is her website:  https://www.anniewuart.com/
