One of my favorite street artists goes by the name Stinkfish. He uses mostly candid photos of people he sees ad photographs while he travels, or old pictures he finds and paints them in mono chromatic tones. Then he adds imaginative and psychedelic detailed layers above them. He never sets the mood of his art on one thing because he believes artwork that large should bring up a large number of emotions. I love how he let each viewer have a completely different opinion on his art by leaving it 100% open to their imagination. Here are some of his pieces-
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. I love how the artist uses different colors for shading and to express personality, whats even better is that everyone can see it. Very admirable artist.
