Ten Thousand Villages

  I recently visited a store called Ten Thousand Villages in Harpers Point. Ten Thousand Villages is a non-profit business that aims to help different communities around the world thrive by selling handmade, crafty, fair-trade items made in over 30 different developing countries, and giving the proceeds to the communities. Many of the workers in the shops are actually volunteers. They sell all sorts of items such as home decor, candles, jewelry, coffee, bags clothes, soaps, and much more. Along with the Harpers Point location, there are also locations in Liberty Center and on Madison Road in Cincinnati. Ten thousand villages is a great company with a great mission and I highly recommend you go and check them out!

    I love this store and all the artwork in it is beautiful!! It's so interesting to see the different styles from different countries and regions!

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. Malena Bozzini         Malena Bozzini is a sophomore college student studying psychology. As her passion she is an artist. Her work is so original and abstract in order to dramatize her figures. She creates art out of emotion and uses her feelings to choose color and shape. One of the most interesting facts is that all of her pieces are done with colored pencils. Her art is so expressive that each piece gives out its own vibe. What makes her art unique is that it is inspired by motion and gestures.
