This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. A collection of inspiration...
I love the idea of this and the unique texture. I think it's cool to see each nail painted a slightly different shade to create the highlights and shadows.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very unique way of making art. I think the 3D effect is really interesting and the texture in the photo makes me want to touch it. Im curious as to how long a piece like this takes to create.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this idea of 3D art. I would've never thought you could use nails to create a realistic portrait.
ReplyDeleteWow that's really cool! It's even 3D! I wonder how he measures the lengths of nails to get that effect perfectly? (And how does he keep the nails from rusting over? o.o)
