I really like this piece because of the color scheme, it emphasizes the mood and tone of the piece. I also like this piece because of the technique. The watercolor of the elephants adds a lot of detail and is a different approach of creating an image of elephants.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. I really like the water color painting of the elephant, it really made me feel happy. And i enjoy looking at its boarders, since it blends well with the background making it look vintage, and spiritual in a way.
ReplyDeletethis is a beautiful painting with the simple colors of the dark brown elephant but how they added some touch of colors around it. water color paintings always turn out really cool in how the paint gets splochy around the edges, good picture!
