Speed Paint - Photoshop

This is a speed paint done in photoshop.
I think the best part of this video is how realistic the
painting is! I hope you enjoy!

  1. This video was really cool! I loved this video because it shows the whole process of the painting very quickly. It was interesting how you can see the different stages of the painting. I loved the reflection in the water, especially how they altered the reflection to fit the ripples in the water.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017. Eventually, I will talk about Marvel comic book artists, but not today. If you want to check out more of her work, here is her website:  https://www.anniewuart.com/
