This photo really spoke to me. In my free time I like to get a new, large piece of white paper and start doodling. I enjoy the creativity of the colored pencils in how they are arranged. I like how the colors are all warm and not dark scary colors. Each color accents the other in a way that pleases the eye. This photo is simple and unique and thats why it was chosen.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. ReplyDeleteWOW SOO COOL
ReplyDeleteNice post, i like the repetition of the pencils and the contrast of colors.
ReplyDeletethis picture is really cool for the repetition of the patter with the changing colors of the pencils, and it also gives us a cool perspective of it by being up close to them.
