Spirit Humans

I love these pictures and how the animals have human bodies and clothes. The artist explains that instead of humans choosing their spirit animals, this shows animals choosing their spirit humans. I think these have an awesome story and are well executed with the contrast of the black backgrounds to make the animal heads a focal point. More of them can be found here!

    I like the contrast between the bright clothing and the black background. This is a unique idea and provides a unique and different view on animals, contrary to how they are normally viewed. Cool post!

    Really interesting concept to think about. Also their photoshopping skills are really good. They got the shading perf and everything. I hope to become that good someday :)

    I really like these! I love the flamingo one a lot, the color scheme really works and makes the flamingo head and the girls body flow together really well. I also love the simplicity of these, it lets the art speak for itself.

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

 If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017.
