Vintage Collage

While browsing on Pinterest, I came across this really cool digital collage. I love the simple color scheme (pink, grey, and black) as well as the opacity changes of the shapes. I think all of the elements work really well together to create this awesome digital collage.

  1. I really like how the colors give this a retro vibe. I like how the plain white background gives a focus on all the different shapes in the middle.

  2. I love this collage and and he combination of the real photo with the shapes and I think it all works really well together. I like that the girl is off to the side (using the rule of thirds) instead of in the middle of the collage. I also love the color scheme for it!

  3. With the combination of flat and three-dimensional shapes this would make a sick album cover.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Bye For Now DMA

Well since I'm a senior, then this is probably going to be my last blog post. Next year, I am going to do the Digital Design program at the Warren County Career Center for college credit, so I'm still going to do some DMA stuff after graduation. It's been very cool to be making cool stuff here and I'll miss you guys and I know your going to miss me and my dog Max.
