This piece really stood out to me mostly because of the hairy-like texture it gives him. I really like how the plant goes around his eyes too its neat, while following the left side of his face. What else stood out about this double exposure is that it is in color, which is not common in that type of art.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. I like how you can still make out humanistic features of the picture and also make out the plant to give the image a foresty look

ReplyDeleteThe symmetry is very nice in this artwork. I definitely think the two images work well together.
ReplyDeleteI like how the plant is growing into the face making it look realistic and bringing more focus to the photo
