Street Art Meets Nature

I love the idea that artists can integrate nature into their art.  The environment gives the artist an idea, and in turn the artist makes the simple tree or building into something more than it is.  Rather than destroying nature this integration embraces it and uses it to assist with self-expression.  For more examples you can visit http://www.mymodernmet.com/profiles/blogs/clever-street-art-with-nature/.

  4. I think someone as a urban planner, or laying out cities, could use the integration of plants and sculpture, like these examples to really make an outstanding city, the places you could go with these ideas is amazing. Just a thought on the tourism perspective.

  5. It's amazing how almost anything in nature can be seen as artistic depending on how you look at it. Something so simple can be turned into something beautiful overtime.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Bye For Now DMA

Well since I'm a senior, then this is probably going to be my last blog post. Next year, I am going to do the Digital Design program at the Warren County Career Center for college credit, so I'm still going to do some DMA stuff after graduation. It's been very cool to be making cool stuff here and I'll miss you guys and I know your going to miss me and my dog Max.
