This picture is of sunglasses but in the lenses there is a city. I really like these sunglasses and think they would look good on me. This looks like a basic image but from what I've learned in DMA its hard to be creative. This photograph tells a story depending on how you look at it. The black and white colors make it hard to tell whats going on in the lenses. This is a very cool picture and I hope you like it as much as I do.

Telling Stories With Film

The video "Bike Lanes"by Casey Neistat is easily my favorite video on YouTube. What I love about it is how it tells a story from something can be told with one simple sentence but he expounds its meaning and shows the story in a funny way. He is very good at doing this, meaning he takes something simple and boring and makes it into a story. He managed to turn almost every day into a story for over year until recently when he ended his daily vlog. If you are interested in film and haven't already done so, I suggest you take a look at his channel, recently he has become a fan favorite and an inspiration for many. I hope to be able to use his storytelling ability with any films we make this year.

Terry Border

I have a high appreciation for comedic art. I found an artist named Terry Border who brings everyday foods and objects to life through bent wire and the strategic placing of the environment of the photograph. I love the humor and voice he brings to his pieces. He has hundreds, check out more on his website!

Very Late.. Vector Portrait!

Since we started on making portraits with vectors and getting an idea on what we are doing with it, I decided to look around at vectors. Some of these are really cool! From geometric shapes to lots of curves and weird lines to make a human! I thought the way the artist made his portrait was very interesting. He used what seems to be hundreds of triangles instead of many of the others I found which used curved lines and different shapes. I like how he used a geometric shape to somehow create an organic creature. Each triangle has its own color as well. I think I'll use a method like this on a vector portrait! Here is more of this artist's work! Sorry for late publish :(

Psychedelic Astronaut

I really like this picture. It shows an astronaut in way that we are not typically used to. I really like the bright colors used because normally, an astronaut is dressed in all white and it is kind of boring. This is an art style that I am really interested in.

Max Amos Tattoos

This tattoo artist is well known for his glitch tattoos, I like how glitch is usually something seen as a bad thing but this artist knows how to make people appreciate the art of glitch. Pieces like this are a huge inspiration for my concentration, as you probably know I manipulate my pieces using the scanner. Its like this artist distorts his images in the scanner and then tattoos them to add a really unique effect, I really love it.

digital collage- album covers

I really love digital collage and these are some album covers that I have found recently that make a great use of the technique. I love the surreal color scheme in both covers and The textures in the palehound cover.
