Goodbye DMA 2

Since this is my last blog post ever of high school DMA I thought I would leave you with an inspirational quote from Walt Disney. 
"The way to get started is to quit talking and start doing."
Though I can tell you that I don't always take that advice I can say it has helped me all through high school in all aspects of my life. The only way something can get done is if you start in and quit talking about starting it. 

Well..goodbye DMA. I will miss you. 

And to all incoming DMA students. I hope you find your spark and earn your earth pass.

HAHA I think I'm so funny. 

But truthfully, I hope you find your passion and stick with it. 

See you on the other side.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

 If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017.
