rocket league new ownership

Rocket league is a game that has been around for a long time now and it has been a great game for all of that time. It also has a great community with it, but there hasn't been a big change that the game has seen in a while. For a long time there has been talk about epic games buying Rocket League. Just recently Epic did buy rocket league. There is a lot of mixed opinions on this because some people think this will be a good thing and on the other hand some people think that epic will ruin the game by changing it too much just like some people say happened to their most popular game fortnite. Hopefully the game will get more popular because of the choice to make it free to play. The game is really fun but not easy to play. I would recommend playing it.

  1. I would say that epic games making Rocket League free to play was a good marketing decision and also a thing the game should have already had awhile ago. Because one thing that stands out in rocket league is not just it's trading system but how it works. See for the longest time it's system was based around Keys which was the currency for rocket league. That currency was more closely related too, TF2, and CSGO made by valve. Which both those games where already free too play. It truly didn't make sense to still pay for the game if almost all the other skins, and boosters had to be opened through crates and use keys. Honestly the decision to make the game free to play was necessary for it's survival. But now as well the Esports scene, it may also get more publicity.

  2. I really enjoy playing this game, one reason being how addictive it is and how enticing the visual aspect of the game is. There are skins models for cars, different nitro boosts, toppers for your cars, and antennas. Their creative team is extremely talented and has proved that as the game has developed. Also, Epic Games buying the game and making it free to play was a power-move for their marketing and the game has never been more popular.

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. She creates art out of emotion and uses her feelings to choose color and shape. One of the most interesting facts is that all of her pieces are done with colored pencils. Her art is so expressive that each piece gives out its own vibe. What makes her art unique is that it is inspired by motion and gestures. It is amazing how she developed such a style at such a young age.  Instagram @ malenabozzini

Project Runway designer Erin Robertson

Last week, I watched the season finale of one of my favorite shows, Project Runway. I have always been a fan of this show because they push people out of their comfort zone in hopes to expand their imagination and work with the potential they have o create amazing fashion pieces. The winner of season 15, Erin Robertson, was one of my favorite designers the show has ever been because she wasn't afraid to take risks and be herself even if it posed the threat of her going home. A couple times a season, the show does what is called an "avant-garde" challenge which is used o show the judges what new perspectives and ideas on fashion the designers have. Erin, described the term "avant-garde" as wearable art, which I thought was really cool. Here are a few of her avant-garde looks as well as a few of my favorite pieces from her this season.    Episode 11 "Bold Innovation" required the designers to create an avant-garde look with unconventional materi...
