TB: Story of My Life

In honor of the rumored 10 year reunion of One Direction, the best band ever, I want to talk about one of their classic music videos for their song Story of My Life. Definietly one of their most artsy videos, the video shows all, 5 at the time (rip Zayn), members developing pictures from their past and hanging them up. We then go into a room full of pictures, covered floor to ceiling in pictures of baby Harry, Niall, Zayn, Liam and Louis. Each member has a solo with their favorite family members as if they have Travelex back and recreate the pictures aa they were present day. The tears start to flow when Louis is shown with his parents and grandparents, and then as they all age, the grandparents disappear. :( The cinematography of this video is seamless and makes you feel as though you are flying around the room. They put the camera on a circle track to make the motions and effects that they do. All 5 of them look fantastic as well. all around great video. great song. 10/10. Praying for a reunion as many signs and hints point to yes! https://youtu.be/W-TE_Ys4iwM

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Malena Bozzini         Malena Bozzini is a sophomore college student studying psychology. As her passion she is an artist. Her work is so original and abstract in order to dramatize her figures. She creates art out of emotion and uses her feelings to choose color and shape. One of the most interesting facts is that all of her pieces are done with colored pencils. Her art is so expressive that each piece gives out its own vibe. What makes her art unique is that it is inspired by motion and gestures. It is amazing how she developed such a style at such a young age.  Instagram @ malenabozzini

Mad Max: Fury Road - Storyboard to Screen

One of my favorite films is Mad Max: Fury Road. There is practically no dialogue in the entire movie, so when George Miller sat down to write the film, he decided that it would be better to hire a team of people to storyboard his vision. Script to Screen is a Twitter page that compares the film to its screenplay, but here the storyboards from Fury Road are compared to the scenes, and it is so fascinating to watch.
