With Thanksgiving coming up I can't help but think about all the pies that my family is going to have afterwards. (Definitely the best part of the whole meal) I love these still life images of pies. They're so interesting to look at. I think what I like most about them is the interesting light sources and the high contrast. I would love to try out still life photography similar to this.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. Super cute! These photos have a very home-y feel about them, like you're sitting at the Thanksgiving dinner table staring at them in person. Love it!
ReplyDeleteReally creative how its such a simple picture but the perspective and the way they arrange the food give it some texture and feeling to the picture! cool post!

ReplyDeleteI love the rich color palette these pieces have and the high contrast. This looks like HDR photography!
