If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017. My concentration for AP consists of buildings and people. The idea behind my concentration is teens views on home life. I'm doing contour line drawing to explain my concentration idea. I really love how building look after they have been manipulated in Photoshop using the technique of contour line drawing.
I really like this post because it draws my eye to the artwork. There's so many contrasts of color and I like how some of the subjects are left blank white.

ReplyDeleteThese are amazing! Both the art style and the general concept behind them are very very interesting and keep the viewer interested. Almost reminds me of Picasso paintings!
