My concentration for AP consists of buildings and people. The idea behind my concentration is teens views on home life. I'm doing contour line drawing to explain my concentration idea. I really love how building look after they have been manipulated in Photoshop using the technique of contour line drawing.

  1. I really like this post because it draws my eye to the artwork. There's so many contrasts of color and I like how some of the subjects are left blank white.

  5. These are amazing! Both the art style and the general concept behind them are very very interesting and keep the viewer interested. Almost reminds me of Picasso paintings!

  6. Really well done! Love the water color look and how they draw your eye from the center to farther into the painting! Can't wait to see the rest!

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017. Eventually, I will talk about Marvel comic book artists, but not today. If you want to check out more of her work, here is her website:  https://www.anniewuart.com/
