Drawing through the perspective of one's eyes

I really like this drawing because it's so detailed, not just with the perspective of the person through their eyes but their eye in general, it is very realistic. I also love the idea behind this drawing and the tear presents the mood of the drawing.

  2. i love the detail the artist put in the mood and scene of the drawing and how they made the simple view of an eye pop out and show emotion

  3. I love eyes. They hold so much expression. This eye you can see the pain inside bubbling up as he is with her, the artist does a great job with showing off the other perspective

  6. the composition of this piece is very strong in my opinion. The artists ability to convey the mood of the entire piece in a tear drop complements the complexity of the reflected image and the eye.

  7. I love eyes and I think this is a beautiful piece. Eyes truly are a window into your soul and show so much expression in my opinion. I love how that emotion is portrayed and contained within the eye. I thought it was really interesting the path I followed when looking at the image. At first I noticed the two dancing and the beautiful landscape. The last thing my eyes settled on was the tear which completely changed the mood. It is a beautiful piece.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017. Eventually, I will talk about Marvel comic book artists, but not today. If you want to check out more of her work, here is her website:  https://www.anniewuart.com/
