Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a 64-episode anime that began airing in 2008. It was the first anime I watched all the way through. I had tried to watch anime in the past but couldn't get past the first couple episodes of any shows. I just assumed I wouldn't find anything I enjoyed until I found this show on Netflix. I went into the show totally blind, not knowing anything about the story, characters, or world. Within the first couple of episodes, I was hooked. Brotherhood does an excellent job of establishing the two protagonists, their goals, connections, beliefs, and why the viewers should care. I wish to avoid going too in-depth, despite the fact the show is over ten years old, but I implore anyone's who interested to watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood even if you are not a fan of anime.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. Watched this show last year, super agree. Great characters, the dub is actually solid and the soundtrack is very good.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely agree on this, the soundtrack is super good, the characters are really fun (though I felt a few characters didn't need to exist but aren't a huge deficit), the dub is actually really good, and the plot is really interesting.
ReplyDeleteThis was the first anime I ever watched as well, it is still one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteI have considering watching it at some point.
ReplyDeleteI wanna watch it, but at the same time, it's not my preferred style of anime.
