Recently I've gotten really into National Geographic Documentaries and one caught my eye. Free solo is about a rock climber named Alex Honnald and his journey training to climb a wall called El Capitan, but without a rope. So basically if he falls and he dies and its super interesting that he is so unphased by death. I recommend everyone to watch this, not only is it super interesting, but it is shot beautifully.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. Dang that's crazy. I want to do this without the "if you fall you die" part.

ReplyDeleteHi Nate. Very cool post. I remember you tried to show me this at Kailer's house. Not very cool. I am scared of heights to be frank. Not cool but very cool post.
