Spin Art

While scrolling through TikTok I came across a video where a guy threw different paint colors on a canvas and then spun the canvas with a drill. I was instantly intrigued by this and started scrolling through his page. His name is Johnny Q and he has managed to create a business out of this. He sells the paintings on his website. His followers suggest colors in the comment section and ask Johnny to make a painting honoring a loved one or something significant to them. It is so enjoyable to see people reacting to their paintings. His username is @johnnyqqq if anyone wants to check out his work. This has become a big phenomenon on TikTok and creators call it spin art.

  2. It's amazing how many different designs can come out of spin art. No two pieces are the same, that's on of its best qualities. Plus, it's very fun to make, I recommend trying it out!

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Bye For Now DMA

Well since I'm a senior, then this is probably going to be my last blog post. Next year, I am going to do the Digital Design program at the Warren County Career Center for college credit, so I'm still going to do some DMA stuff after graduation. It's been very cool to be making cool stuff here and I'll miss you guys and I know your going to miss me and my dog Max.
