With the final season of supernatural coming to a close and officially ending I thought I would take some time to talk about how the special effects and overall editing has improved greatly. For instance, when someone was to get possessed by a demon in the earlier seasons it literally looked like contacts were being changed and it looked like there was a cut in filming so it was less believable. However, in the later seasons, the editing got better and it doesn't look like there was a cut in filming to change contacts even if there was. However the show Supernatural has a tone problem because it can never stick to only one tone and it instead has several different tones throughout one season but that was also fixed in later seasons.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. I unfortunately only got into the show at season 13 so I didn't get to watch the full story, but I really enjoyed the visual effects used in the show!
