Well, well it seems that my quarantine obsession ends tomorrow at Noon. What does this cartoonish show have to do with DMA you may be asking? Well for starters the entire show is drawn out and animated (with a small hint of CGI in the more recent episodes) meaning that this entire show revolves around Digital Art! The animation in the ladder half of War of Underworld has been breathtaking and for me, it is a very long term goal to become as good as some of the animators that work on this show at their frame by frame animation style. The Artwork has also taken a huge step up from back when it had first season air on for the first time, which that on an Animation standard wasn't even that bad either. If you are wanting to get into the anime genre I'd recommend it to you if you are into the Fantasy/Sci-Fi vibe that it gives off.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. I've seen the first season of Alicization. I'm hoping to catch up on it at some point soon!
