Junior year has been the downright craziest. I’m really going to miss Mrs. Barnes, the seniors and those who are leaving our big DMA family. I want to take a moment to thank Mrs. Barnes for just overall being an amazing teacher. She helped us get through so much through the year (not to name names but @missmatthey). I also want to thank everyone in my DMA class. We had so much fun this year. I have so many amazing memories specifically from my class and the people in it. Going to miss the DMA Bunch!! I’m looking forward to AP DMA and to the new relationships, opportunities and accomplishments that will define my senior year, much as they have defined my junior year. Thank you so much to everyone. This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love.
