Some of my favorite subjects to photograph are animals, especially my dogs. It's always fun to set my camera to a high shutter speed and photograph them while they're moving. That way, I get some pretty interesting shots like the one of my dog rolling around on the ground. It's in these photos that their true personalities shine through, and that's what I think is most fun about photographing them. This doesn't just go for dogs though, all animals can make for great and intriguing subjects. You never know what you're going to get!
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. My two favorite dogs! It's really cool how you captured them in their natural poses, I love the golden glow in all of them.
