So, I found these poems by the author Marie Frances. I really liked the way they flowed and captured the reader. Honestly, I think there's some truth to what she says, and the way we work, mentally.
In the End
From ash we rise again
Only when death cowers
And hides his sullen onyx eyes.
From the depths of darkness we find the light
But only when location is given
And we know the way.
Only when we are invincible
Do we stand
But isn’t that the greatest cowardice of all?
-Marie Frances
The Dream Keeper
Darkness wells, in deep soulless eyes
Broken to the core, seeing, but not quite.
Hopes and dreams, tucked away in the safety of another’s mind
In another place, another time.
-Marie Frances
Celaena
Fire and fury
Enrage
Set heart and soul aflame
Destruction and pain sure to follow
Eternal agony using love as fuel for hate
Feeding from the soul
Never ending
Until nothing
Is
Left.
-Marie Frances
The poetry has inspired me. I personally like the first one the best. It's encouraging tone that twists into something even more deep is astounding.
