This is my newest illustrated portrait that I created for the Taft ARC exhibition. I was inspired by a Hooch painting at the Taft called A Woman with a Cittern and a Singing Couple at a Table because of the amazing composition and use of texture and light. I tried to focus on these things while I created this portrait. Overall I am very proud of this piece.
I really like the how the subject is posed and the contrast of colors. I think this they create a really interesting piece.
