Welp.

Well, year's coming to a close. I'm glad I took this class. I got exposed to all sorts of projects, people, compositions, competitions, etc. I've discovered what things I liked and didn't like. For example, I love illustrator portraits but if I have to deal with Premiere again, I'm gonna break my computer. Things like that. Like,

The portrait I did of my father

For awhile, I was dead set on being a game designer. Going into the design part of it, 3d modeling, concept artwork, animations, etc. But since then, my interests have shifted and changed and I think I've decided that I won't be going into a digital media career.

But, don't get me wrong. I spend hours a day drawing on my tablet at home. Creating art, doodling on math papers and doing all sorts of artsy stuff. Even if I don't go into the career, it's still a hobby amd it's a hobby I love to do.

I appreciated my time in Digital Media 1 and I wish luck to everyone taking it next year. Have fun in all the competitions and in BPA again next year! Ciao!

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017. Eventually, I will talk about Marvel comic book artists, but not today. If you want to check out more of her work, here is her website:  https://www.anniewuart.com/
