BPA STATE 2017

Congratulations to all DMA students on their outstanding achievement at the BPA State Competition. Good luck to the 3 DMA students who qualified to continue on to the National Competition in Orlando Florida in May.

Faith Shields won 1st Place in Computer Modeling and qualified for Nationals.

Celeste Riddell won 3rd Place in Digital Media Production and qualified for Nationals.

The Team of Faith Shields and Avi DiPasquale place in the top 12 in the NATION in Virtual Multimedia & Promotion and qualified for Nationals.

Sofìa Camarillo placed in the top 10 in the State in graphic design promotion.

Jenna Cooper, Bridget Davis, Jillian Krynock, & Kali Reaves placed in the top 10 in the State in Video Production

Lauren Goslee, Ben Kessler, Carlos Melendez & Mikayla Werner placed in the top 10 in the State in Broadcast News Production

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Malena Bozzini         Malena Bozzini is a sophomore college student studying psychology. As her passion she is an artist. Her work is so original and abstract in order to dramatize her figures. She creates art out of emotion and uses her feelings to choose color and shape. One of the most interesting facts is that all of her pieces are done with colored pencils. Her art is so expressive that each piece gives out its own vibe. What makes her art unique is that it is inspired by motion and gestures.
