Shattered

So I recently had this idea to find a few empty snow globes and shatter them. This is not my picture, but the inspiration leading to my idea. I love how the light shines through the shattered glass and how time stands still. The broken pieces are so clearly seen that you can trace every edge. What if we put our own bad things in a globe and shattered it? Would time stand still too? I would like to do a project based off of shattered glass focusing on the jagged shapes, just like this picture.
This is a picture I took with a lens baby on my camera. I liked the contrast of light and dark between the branches and leaves. It's mainly a dark photo with light coming through. The blur on the outside and the focus in the middle really bring the entire photo together.
I choose this photo because I like how the snow looks so texture and how the mountains have the rock edges look like its jagged and how the sky looks all dark and foggy

Brandon Woelfel

I follow this photographer on instagram and I think his work style is so unique and stand out. He works with colors and lights so well. This is an example of his work.

Melanie Willhide - "To Adrian Rodriguez With Love"

I was talking to my friends recently about a story I'd read a while ago, so I'll post it here now! Melanie Willhide was a photographer whose laptop got stolen. When her computer was found, all her files had been deleted. However, when a file is deleted, it's not completely gone; just corrupted to be rewritten over. When she managed to recover her old photographs, the corruptions in the photos took her creative vision in a whole new direction. She dedicated this series of artwork to the thief, hence the name. Read about her story here . Visit her website here. Below are some of my favorite pictures from this series.

Video game creation

Every game has Glitches This video goes over some hilarious glitches in Skyrim and regardless of how funny they may be glitches and bugs are always annoying so for the future game designers please fix the glitches
Nice blend of colors with a nice offset for the Oeders Park Sign, The sunset brings out the light but slightly intense feeling this picture has flowing through it.

3rd Time Blog - Matt Hunt

This is Miguel an artist, I chose this album cover because I like how unique it is. I've never seen an album cover close to this.

Star Wars Logos

I think these Star Wars Logos are a really cool example of how much design and meaning you can put in a small amount of space. Logos should be simple yet appealing to the eye and mean a lot in the little bit of space they take up.

Yoda

This is Yoda from Star Wars Battlefront 2. I think its amazing how far game developers have come in their graphics. It looks pretty much real.

Darth Revan

This is Darth Revan. I really like how the smoke is coming off the lightsabers, it adds cool effects. The new star war is coming out in 2 days and I couldn't be more stoked. Star Wars is so tight.  FaZe Up

What You Leave Behind

For the longest time, I have been watching short films, daily vlogs, and everything in between on Justin Escalona's youtube channel, "PlayTheGameFilms". Over the years, I have become a huge fan of his cinematic sequences shot with his 4K camera as well as his short films shot on his iPhone 6. Three years ago, he was accepted to the University of Southern California, a school I am very interested in myself. He decided to go there to pursue his interest in film making since it is the #1 film school in the world. Below is just one example of the talent he possesses in a short video he wrote, filmed, and edited in under 24 hours describing how his leaving had a bigger effect on him than he realized. Like him, I never really give much thought to how moving over 2,000 miles away will affect me as well as the only people I've had meaningful relationships with for the past 18 years. Since he does go to USC and live in LA, many of his videos are shot there but it was nice and...

V2

Vine is and always will be the greatest app ever made. From "What is up Kyle" to "AHHH stop i could've dropped my croissant" it was all legendary. Unfortunately, back in early 2017 they took the app away from us. Many of us vine loves have resorted to watching compilations on Youtube or watching Vine threads on twitter but it just does not have the same affect on us. But, as of last week, the creator of vine tweeted a photo (attached below) and all the vine lovers lost it. It brought me to tears and I felt like a kid on Christmas m orning.

200 Days - A Trip Around the World Travel Film

I found a cool video where this couple traveled to 17 countries in 200 days. There is a lot of cool visuals and the landscapes are beautiful. Also, they showed a lot of the culture from each of these countries as well which was really interesting.

iPhone Quality

I found this video awhile back when the iPhone 7 Plus first came out. I wanted to see the quality of it before I committed to purchasing it. This video really shows how well this phone can shoot in low light. It really surprised me because I was expecting it to be a little bit grainy but this video really showed how well it can capture all aspects of light.

The Best Films of 2017: A Video Countdown

Since it is the end of the year a lot of film critics are beginning to publish their top ten films of 2017 lists. I found this video montage by David Ehrlich of his favorite movies from this year. I've watched the video multiple times now because of the fantastic editing and song choices. He has made a few other countdowns from previous years and continues to outdo himself everytime. The films he selected for this year were fantastic choices and I'm very interested in checking out the movies from his list that I haven't heard of. 2017's Countdown:  https://vimeo.com/245670075 2016's Countdown:

Uncontrollable Capture

I was reminiscing and going through some old photos the other day when I found this. Not only is the story behind it super inspiring, the shot is gorgeous. Capturing an uncontrollable subject can make a picture risky. But at just the right time this photographer captured a moment that was so magical and so hopeful.

The Thinking Cap

I find this style of art to be both intruging and odd. It inspires me to futher my education in the digital arts field because of the complexity of a piece such as the ones I've selected is to a magnitude that is extraordinary. I decided to include an example of this style in a piece that deminstrates the use of photoshop as well as one that was completly created through a digital paint brush.

Christmas Lights

In the spirit of Christmas I wanted to share with you guys a house that is in my grandmother's neighborhood. Every year they go over the top with their light displays, if I remember correctly I believe they also have tons of decorations for other holidays as well, but Christmas has to be their biggest. I don't have any pictures I myself have taken, so I had to google them lol. The first video is just a short one someone took driving by just to give you a good idea. The second one is one that the homeowners took to show off their house in its entirety so they actually take you into the yard.

2-D Animation Effects

Lately, I have been gathering inspiration for 2-D animation effects as I animate my concentration. I love effects in animation because they can make your work look really professional and they are really good exercises to hone your skill and style. These are some of my favorite effect GIFs from this week.
Clout Worldwide This art work Iv'e made represents me and my love for the fashion world and art.

jaden smith syre

Jaden smith is an insparation to me. his music has evolved a lot since he started. his style of music is chill and emotional. he likes to tell a story with his music. he also has a really good style of fashion.

Waffsicle & Last Minute Trips

Piggybacking on AC’s post, I just wanted to take a minute to give a little bit more insight into what ‘Last Minute Trips’ is. The production company branded “Waffsicle” is owned by two filmmakers from L.A., Julien Solomita and Collin Duddy. Julien (who I’ll post about next time!) is a vlogger on his own channel, JSolo. Julien’s editing style and cinematography really brings together both his own vlogs and the Last Minute Trips series. As AC said, they literally throw a dart at a map. This past week, they took their last LMT of the year, the seventh installment of the series. This trip brought them to Bruneau, Idaho. What’s in Idaho? Potatoes? Yeah, probably. But this little town has sand dunes. Who would’ve thought? Sand dunes in the middle of Idaho? It’s certainly not something you think when you hear Idaho. I’d also like to add a little personal anecdote to this post — I had the opportunity to meet Julien and Collin! They took a ‘Not So Last Minute Trip’ down to Cottontown, Tenness...

Tomer Razabi

Tomer Razabi I recently came across a very talented landscape photographer named Tomer Razabi. He has a portfolio of photos taken in the Dead Sea with beautiful vivid colors. He is also colorblind which is interesting because the colors in his works are fantastic. If you are interested in viewing more of his work you can find it  here  or you can follow him on instagram  here .

Lightroom Editing Tips

I found this video online and it really helps evening out your skin tones and getting your post-processing look where you want it. You should try out what Lightroom has to offer instead of Photoshop, It's a great program for editing photography.
I chose to post this picture because I love how the red pops on my car and seeing all the shadows from the trees on the glass.
This is a picture I took of Casey awhile back. I thought it looked pretty cool after editing the drop screen to have colors.
This is a statue of my grandpa who was a body builder. He is the tall one in the middle. This statue has been at mill creek park in Youngstown Ohio for a very long time. me and my family visit the statue almost every time we travel back home to visit family. my grandpa past away in 2002 but it is pretty cool that his statue is always here so we can always remember him.
While I was doing my Geisha Project I found this detailed picture. The art work and detail in this drawing is phenomenal. It really showcases the expression of her mood and of the atmosphere of this time. It was a great source of inspiration while doing my geisha project and still serves as a source of inspiration in future projects.

Cincinnati Kentucky Bridge

This bridge describes something different to me than some other people. Imagine coming home from a long vacation flying into Norther Kentucky seeing this bridge knowing that you're finally home. The feeling is amazing and makes people happy knowing they get to sleep in their own bed.

Matthew Hunt (Week 2)

I found this picture on Pinterest and I really Like the Color they used on this... and how they used it throughout the whole picture.  I also like the Detail They put into this piece.

Saving Escape Studio Photography

These are some pictures I took while my band was in Sonic Lounge Studios tracking our newest album. It was a super fun experience working in this studio as well as creating new music, I'm glad I could document it through these photos. I edited them to be monochromatic and also added noise to look like grain.

Leif Podhajsky / Tame Impala

This is one of my favorite artists, Leif Podhajsky an Australian graphic artist who does the cover art for almost all of my favorite band's albums, Tame Impala. This style of psychedelic art not only is complex and brightly colored, but it fit the sound of Australian psych-pop band Tame Impala.

Yes Theory

Yes Theory is a YouTube channel made up of 4 guys from all over the world. These guys post videos weekly but also did a challenge called project 30. During this project they completed 30 videos on different topics like daily adventures or making peoples days better. They make awesome videos and use very cool angles and camera lenses to create even better videos. You should check them out.

Different Forms

I thought this video was very interesting, as it is based on how love is viewed by the artist in this animation. I thought it was fun to try and interpret the video and how love is expressed in each animation.  I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I do!

Stinkfish

Street art has always been really interesting to me. To create artwork the size of a building takes a lot of time, preparation, and skill. many street artists spend days creating stencils to paint with before they begin on the actual canvas, but some freehand everything. One of my favorite street artists goes by the name Stinkfish. He uses mostly candid photos of people he sees ad photographs while he travels, or old pictures he finds and paints them in mono chromatic tones. Then he adds imaginative and psychedelic detailed layers above them. He never sets the mood of his art on one thing because he believes artwork that large should bring up a large number of emotions. I love how he let each viewer have a completely different opinion on his art by leaving it 100% open to their imagination. Here are some of his pieces-

Filters

I just wanted to talk about the Photoshop filters because I played with them and I feel like everyone should know about them, some of them are really flattening like embed, and some of  them bring life. I really like the free choice filters because you can do things like stained glass, and bring new life to pictures in seconds. some cool examples are here https://www.pinterest.com/nishasandhu/photoshop-filters/

Steve McCurry

I stumbled upon this photographer and saw his amazing pictures! If you visit his website you'll see pictures from all around the world. He captures real world lifestyles in a unique perspective. http://stevemccurry.com/galleries

Caribbean Trip

About a month ago, my family and I took a Caribbean Cruise. I absolutely love spending time in the Caribbean and it has a special place in my heart.  My grandparents always used to travel with us and this was the first trip we went to the Caribbean without them. The weather was amazing so I was able to get some beautiful photos. Below I have attached some of the ones I took.
