Tiny Landscape

Hey everyone! While I was brainstorming for our next AP project I came across these tiny landscapes that were painted rather than with photography. I love how intricate each painting is! I like the difference between these works compared to what we are doing next!

  1. I love how the artist paid so much attention to all the tiny details in these pieces and created something so intricate on such small things

  3. I really like how the photograph also includes the same items without the painting, just to show how minuscule these really are. The detail is incredible.

  4. Honestly I'd probably be too impatient for this kind of art, it's crazy how much time was put into such small pieces of work.

  5. That is really cool, how the artist used real objects as a canvas to create unique art.

  6. This is so awesome, I love how the landscapes looked engraved in each piece. The amount of detail is very appealing and must have taken so long to do.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Bye For Now DMA

Well since I'm a senior, then this is probably going to be my last blog post. Next year, I am going to do the Digital Design program at the Warren County Career Center for college credit, so I'm still going to do some DMA stuff after graduation. It's been very cool to be making cool stuff here and I'll miss you guys and I know your going to miss me and my dog Max.
