Good morning, I found these photos on Pinterest, they're very pinteresting (that could be an adjective or a verb if you think about it). The carvings are incredibly intricate, and I also am always intrigued by the idea of destroying something to make art. I think it would be really cool if the landscapes were settings that existed inside the book but who knows you know?
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. Wow, that's a really interesting form of art! I can only imagine how long it must have taken to carve such intricate landscapes into a book like that! I would have just assumed that the images were photoshopped together somehow, it's amazing that someone could to that!
