Half Dipped Nike Air Mags Drawn by CJ Hendry

So I was looking on the internet for some cool art and came across this. This work is done by CJ Hendry. She bought a pair of $9,000 Nike AirMags, dipped them in black paint, took a picture, and then drew them. When I first saw the piece I was amazed by how real it looked and I also wondered why she would do this to such nice shoes!?! I personally think it paid off.  I really like how she made the shoes look 3-D and how the paint actually looks like paint. I looked further into it and found a website I think everyone should check out. http://www.thecoolhunter.net/ It has other amazing art and tells the story of them all.

    I like how much time and money she spent to use the work and make the work look so perfect. The paint in the photo she painted looks so real.

    The 3-D effect she brings to the piece is unreal. It's mind-blowing how talented people are. How she even drew that I will never know but its absolutely incredbile

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. Malena Bozzini         Malena Bozzini is a sophomore college student studying psychology. As her passion she is an artist. Her work is so original and abstract in order to dramatize her figures. She creates art out of emotion and uses her feelings to choose color and shape. One of the most interesting facts is that all of her pieces are done with colored pencils. Her art is so expressive that each piece gives out its own vibe. What makes her art unique is that it is inspired by motion and gestures.
