Hey guys it's Abbey. So in AP DMA, we've been practicing our drawing abilities. We'v been doing different shading, contour line drawing, and value exercises. It can be difficult, but when I came across this on Pinterest, I realized how simple it was. When coloring a glass bottle like this, you don't just use darker values of green, you start to use browns and reds. I thought it was really interesting, and crazy how complex a glass bottle can be to color.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. woah Abbey this is so interesting! I love how there's a palate of colors on the right side indicating all the colors used on the bottle! Also the left side, the ellipses drawn to show three dimensional space on a 2d plane is so cool!

ReplyDeleteI like how he used dark reds as the shadows instead of black.
