Although I don't do it very often, I really enjoy looking at typography. I found this one online, for example, and I absolutely love how well the words fit into the environment. It's almost as if they're... real? Like, it fascinates me that something like this text could appear to truly belong in a photograph despite knowing better.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. I really enjoy the color scheme of this piece, with mostly neutrals and a pop of red. I love the message and the abyss that is illustrated behind the text.
ReplyDeleteI like the perspective of the text. Usually things like that tend to pop out, but this gives the feel the text is almost hiding inside the black hole. The artist did some nice work with the shadows.
