Human Painting

Alexa Meade is an artist who uses the human body as her canvas.  She paints people and photographs them, creating the illusion that they are just a 2D painting.  I have always loved the idea of creating art using humans because it's incredibly organic.  There are many great examples of her work available on the internet if you just search her name.

    This is probably one of the most interesting things ive seen in a while. Its a very unique way of bringing more life to a still life painted portrait.

    I like how you can really tell that one is a painting and one person is real. It throws off your perspective because we are used to seeing a painting of someone, not someone real actually in the painting.

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. Malena Bozzini         Malena Bozzini is a sophomore college student studying psychology. As her passion she is an artist. Her work is so original and abstract in order to dramatize her figures. She creates art out of emotion and uses her feelings to choose color and shape. One of the most interesting facts is that all of her pieces are done with colored pencils. Her art is so expressive that each piece gives out its own vibe. What makes her art unique is that it is inspired by motion and gestures.
