Hey Guys! Since dma 1 is starting our movie campaigns i thought i would share some really cool movie posters i found. I really like both Dark Knight covers because of how different they are and yet advertise for the same thing. I really like the Harry Potter one because of the action and story that picture tells!

    Maybe this is biased but I really enjoy the Harry Potter poster.Not only because I adore the series itself and I can relate to it, but i like how it uses the light from his wand and the falling embers to create the feeling it does.

    The Dark Knight's movie poster is really cool! I love that style and the color choices used in. It reminds me of cutting out construction paper and placing it to create one big picture with a ton of different pieces of paper.

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

 If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017.
