In DMA1 we are working on creating a movie poster. I was looking on Pinterest and found this awesome link! On this link there are 50 photoshopped movie posters. Some of them are really unique. The movie posters above are the top 3 on the list, I really like how most of the third poster is all text.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. These are really cool posters! I might use some of these ideas and incorporate them into my movie poster for the trailer we did.
ReplyDeleteTaken is such great movie. The dark shadow on Liam Neeson pulls you in. Then after reading the quote you instantly want to find out more about it. A movie poster shouldn't give away the whole movie. It should just give a hint.
