Hi friends! My name is Paige Scholosser. My concentration is titled "The Invisible Lines". "The Invisible Lines" is a conceptual approach to exploring how each individual connects and is effected by the past. I choose this mainly because I am over nostaglic but also because I think every person is more influenced by their past and the past in general more than everyone thinks. The entire series is digital collage using black and white photography with scanned in vintage photographs/postcards/ect along with scanned paper and textures. For college it was hard for me to decide what to study because I have an interest in painting, drawing, digital art, film and so many more art related fields! But ultimately next year I'll be studying documentary film (and possiblity fine art if I can find the time, sigh) at Columbia College Chicago! To see more of my work click to my website here

This is one of the coolest concepts I've ever seen, I love everything about these photos, bringing personality and meaning into them is so important. Good luck in Chicago!
ReplyDeletehi piage. these are super hipster. but really i do like the use of the same lines and adding them into each picture different ways.
ReplyDeletePaige my offer still stands to buy prints of your work when they're all done :D I love each of these pieces because they represent a much bigger idea than just a cool technique (which it's WAY awesome by the way :) ) but it's a really interpretive series as well! In love with your concentrations!!! Keep up the good work!!!
