Jensen O'Dell

Hello! I am Jensen O'Dell. I like to paint digitally. Ive used this skill in my concentration, as you can see. My concentration focuses on the 7 deadly sins and holy virtues demonstrated using modern day, teenage females. I also use Shakespeare quotes to get my point across. I love that guy. You can find more of my work here. This year I am a senior in AP DMA. Next year I will go to college. I'm not sure where I am going to go or what I am going to do for sure, but I think I want to go to USC for Creative Writing.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017. Eventually, I will talk about Marvel comic book artists, but not today. If you want to check out more of her work, here is her website:  https://www.anniewuart.com/
