Lil peep died November 15, 2017 of a Fentanyl laced Xans overdose. lil peep was a rapper/songwriter. His style of music was more on the sad end. I really liked his style of apparel. in this picture i like how the red compliments the pink shirt and how the color scheme matches the background. 

Justin Gaffrey's paintings inspired my current work of art which is a textured piece on a blank canvas.

  This piece is called  "The Scream" by Edvard Munch. I have never forgotten this since the beginning of the year when we were first shown. I am inspired by the mystery behind the story of the person. I still want to know what is  really happening, and why Edvard used those specific colors. I am inspired by the mystery, and the wavy pastel markings. I was also interested in the fact that this was not only made in pastels, but also painted. I hope later I can also incorporate mystery into my works, and I hope to see some mysterious pieces from my peers that keep me thinking. -Ann Hernandez

I found this video while mindlessly scrolling on my phone and I was immediately interested in this processes of dyeing fabrics. Unfortunately, this art form is dyeing out (pun intended). The video explains the long and tedious process of dyeing fabrics with real indigo. Hope you find it as interesting as I did! 

This abstract piece is titled "Slipping Away" by Rafael Morseletto. I like this design because of how complicated it looks, but in reality is quite basic. The composition is ink on paper.

Here is an interesting video I found on the life of an award-winning animal photographer. Her name is Carli Davidson and she leads a fun life in Portland, Oregon - with access to take pictures of animals at the local zoo, as well as to photograph the pets of people in the area. Animals can be expressive in so many different ways, it creates an intriguing picture when something out of the ordinary is caught on camera!
