Wizard of OZ Remake

Supposedly one of the most classic movies is going to be remade. Nicole Kassell and New Line Cinema are creating a "fresh take" on The Wizard of OZ! I heard about it on the radio and they asked do you think they should remake the classic or just stick with the original? So now I'm asking you guys the same question. Personally, I'd like to see how they are "Reimagining" it. Then again I don't really want another Charlie/Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory situation where there are 2 great movies that are basically the same but they are just different enough they aren't the same. You end up getting the little differences mixed up like which one shows the people leaving the factory, which one shows more of grandpa joes background working in the factory, which one has the kid that ends up inside of the tv and etc.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Well since I'm a senior, then this is probably going to be my last blog post. Next year, I am going to do the Digital Design program at the Warren County Career Center for college credit, so I'm still going to do some DMA stuff after graduation. It's been very cool to be making cool stuff here and I'll miss you guys and I know your going to miss me and my dog Max.
