"The Dirt" is a film that was made in 2019, It takes place in the '70s and '80s, and its about the rise of the very popular and Notorious rock band MӦTLEY CRÜE and stars many familiar faces such as Machine Gun Kelly as Tommy Lee, Douglas Booth as Nikki Sixx, Iwan Rhoen as Mick Mars, and Daniel Webber as Vince Neil. The movie starts off as a look into the future at a party and creatively introduces each character and does a great job showing their personalities. I love this movie because of the way it portrays not only how people lived back in but the life of Rock n' Roll. I've listened to Motley Crue since I was about 12 and seeing this movie makes listening to their music so much better. I would recommend this movie but Viewer Discretion is advised as it is Rated R. If you like Motley Crue and Rock in general this is a must watch.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well.
