This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. A collection of inspiration...
I really enjoy these. I like the use of watercolor with the harsh contour lines in the last portrait.
ReplyDeleteThis is really cool, especially with the shading on the giraffe. The fact that they're all just lines with such a complex nature is interesting. Thank you for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteI love how the contour gives the drawings depth and texture! They really help to draw focus to certain areas of the drawing!
ReplyDeleteThese are so interesting! I love the contour line technique, and I love how each artist has a specific style.
ReplyDeleteI love how the color in the third piece seems to unite yet contrast simultaneously.
ReplyDeleteI like how the lines shows almost as if the texture is moving, very nice!
ReplyDeleteI like how the lines look like they are trying to create movement on the skin, very nice.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the giraffe. I like how simple lines can be used to imitate texture.
