Joelle is my dearest friend, and I'm going to tell the story of her strength. She's been through so much in her life, and right now, she's at one lowest points in her short life, as am I. She and I stick together through it all, even if were halfway across the world from each other. You don't find many friends like that. Some people might call me a fool for holding onto someone for so long, but she's my stronghold, and I'm proud to call myself her stronghold. I'm happy to be the person she comes to when it really matters. I know that when it comes down to it, our bond is stronger than anything in the world. It's not a friendship that will fade and break, but one that will remain strong forever, no matter what happens in our life. That is why I do this. I work for her, I want to make her life better. She is the reason I am who I am, and the reason I push forward.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love.
