Finding Meaning

For a while now I've been struggling to find inspiration and a reason to go out and take photos or start a new piece of art containing a subject matter that I truly care about and like. I find it hard to be truly original nowadays, with the media as an outlet of proof to show who-did-what-first and whether or not your work is authentic. As an artist, I constantly worry that I'm copying another's work or idea, and it really puts me into a creative block. When I am at this point, I take to YouTube to watch inspiring videos for ideas and tips. As a fan of photography, here is a video that not only provides new ways to shoot, but gives tips to those with this style already.

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. Malena Bozzini         Malena Bozzini is a sophomore college student studying psychology. As her passion she is an artist. Her work is so original and abstract in order to dramatize her figures. She creates art out of emotion and uses her feelings to choose color and shape. One of the most interesting facts is that all of her pieces are done with colored pencils. Her art is so expressive that each piece gives out its own vibe. What makes her art unique is that it is inspired by motion and gestures.
