I absolutely love the texture this painting has. I also really love the bright color of the lips and nose but somehow they work and really pull the painting together even though they aren't neutral/normal colors.

    The texture of this painting makes me want to peel off this persons skin. It's so cool how something as simple as texture can change the whole feel of the piece!

    The way that the artist didn't blend the paint together is wonderful. It adds a surreal look to it and catches your eye.

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. Malena Bozzini         Malena Bozzini is a sophomore college student studying psychology. As her passion she is an artist. Her work is so original and abstract in order to dramatize her figures. She creates art out of emotion and uses her feelings to choose color and shape. One of the most interesting facts is that all of her pieces are done with colored pencils. Her art is so expressive that each piece gives out its own vibe. What makes her art unique is that it is inspired by motion and gestures.
