Digital Painting Inspiration

Hi everyone!
This is a recreation of a still from the 1963 Disney movie "The Sword in the Stone".
It was done in part by Tyson Murphy, using digital painting over top of the original image!
I love the detail in this picture. The added touched like light, shadow, snowflakes, and even cracks in the sword all help to make this "painting" a really amazing image.

    This is so cool because I love Disney/kids movies and I agree, the added details really make the image pop.

    I love how the digital painting adds so much more detail than the original, it shows how far design technology has come.
