This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. A collection of inspiration...
I love the idea of combining opposites. The heat of the fire is replaced with the concept of cool water and I love how it makes you look at these pieces twice before understanding what they are
ReplyDeleteThe way they use water instead of fire really interests me. It really makes me wonder what kind of message the artist is trying to get across.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really cool idea and it is also really well done. It is always cool to look at something through a different perspective like this.
ReplyDeleteLove how pretty the water looks. Its confusing when you first look at it.
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS SO COOL! I love really weird things like this! The way the candle is still dripping makes you wonder if its dripping because of heat or because of the water... sorry if that didn't make sense lol
