I think it would be awesome to actually experiment with this type of stuff. Just having a photo that you thought was torn forever can actually be fixed amazes me. If you want to see more just search Photoshop Restoration Photo on YouTube.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. We learned to restore photos in intro to DMA & its a phenomenal skill to carry with you. Last year we had a huge flood in our basement ruining several family photos with family members that have passed on & I was able to restore a couple of the photos & no price could pay the smile on my grandmas face when I showed her the fixed picture of my grandpa. Such a great skill & go photoshop for giving us those tools to do such things.
